Last night, 24 Hours of Booty hung out at Donald Haack Diamonds for the unveiling of the newest 24 Hours of Booty charm. The longtime sponsor has fielded a 24 Hours of Booty team for years, raising more than $19,000 in 2010. Each year, master goldsmith and team captain Russell Mckenzie custom designs a sterling silver piece, representative of 24 Hours of Booty. Proceeds from the charm benefit the Donald Haack Diamonds team.
“This year I took a different direction,” Russell comments. “I used the shape of a guitar pick as my inspiration and used a more hollowed out design.” A limited number of charms are available – this year they produced only 80. They can be purchased for $45 each at the Charlotte store, or by calling (704) 365-4400. Charms will also be available at each ride, as long as the supply lasts!
